What a great place to take the small kids in your life. Lots for them to do, including a sandpit, jumping castle, jungle gyms, bikes, etc, as well as make your own pizza! The adults can order wine and pizza to enjoy while watching the kiddies from a mostly shady table. Staff are friendly and the bathrooms were clean and tidy. Reasonably priced menu.

We booked to have our end of year with our children in order for them to have fun in the play park. On arrival we were told that our children can not enter due to a private party. Our children very unhappy was only allowed to play on the grass and see how other children are having fun. We were told that they should have informed us but did not. If we knew we would not have taken our children with. We placed our food order for our kids and us. The kids food were brought First. My 6 year old had to wait for her pizza after asking twice for it. She ended up eating with her sister. Pizza only came after everyone was almost done eating without an apology.! Its a very beautiful place but due to this first experience would not recommend to anyone!

My husband and i won a holiday there plus breakfast. We stayed at The Werf our very own self-catering cottage. A sight for sore eyes. The service was beyond amazing! They allowed us to bring our son.Very friendly kind staff and even the estate Yorkie dogs Steffie, Lulu and Zoe warmed our hearts. Magnificent sweeping lawns, rose gardens and scrumptious breakfasts awaited us. Thank you Weltevreden Estate and Chantal the organiser of our holiday. We left rejuvenated and ready for 2019.
