We went with another couple to celebrate my birthday. We made a reservation the Fri before Christmas. Yes it was packed. We told our first waitress we had a show to attend after dinner which was 2 hrs after we got seated. We were seated 15 min late but still had plenty of time. We were seated behind the UberEats pick up area so there was lots of people and noise where we were besides waitresses flying by picking up food. My husband also told our hostess and the first waitress that we were there to celebrate my birthday which was 2 days later. As soon as our drinks were delivered, our waitress changed. My husband told this waitress about my bday and she said when is it and I said Oh not for two days but we're doing a show tonight later and this dinner to celebrate. After ordering dinner (I ordered a special fish which the price was not mentioned), and after a long while, our meals finally arrived. Everyone ordered typical menu items, including my friend who ordered Caesers salad with chicken, but the salad arrived without chicken. She finally flagged down a manager who said they would bring over the missing chicken right away.  My husband actually wanted fish and chips but the waitress had never heard of that. She said well we have fish and we have fries...My fish and carrots were ok, portions were not huge. My husbands Mexican plate was ok, nothing special. Our others friends husband's meat sandwich looked rather plain. A second round of drinks were ordered and the wrong drinks were refreshed. We flagged our waitress down again. After a while the right ones showed up. Finally plates were cleared and we were ready for dessert. Our waitress hurriedly put some dessert menus down and off she went. 10 min later she said did you decide and I said after a long look at her...well it is my birthday sooooo....and she said oh it is?! And we said yassssss...we talked about it and she finally said oh yes i remember. Pick anything out and I hurriedly ordered a cheesecake and 4 forks. Not much time was left to get to our show so after we ate a few bites of cheesecake, the hubbies settled the bill and off we ran getting to the show with 2 min to spare. My husband informed me later that my birthday dessert had not be comp'd and my small piece of fish special and a handful of carrots was $30. We always come here before a show but after this dreadful expensive time consuming and meh food and service, I'm not sure I could talk anyone into coming back again. What happened the night of Dec 21st?
This was a very nice surprise for a chain restaurant. I'd never been before. The dining area was big and open, but kind of dark and intimate, looked comfortable and spacious with large booths that felt private and warm. The bar is super cool with a full colorful glass bottle wall that is super tall with TVs mixed in. The service is very friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high but not crazy. The food was impressive, especially for a chain. It was individually prepared, not mass produced. Very well presented, beautiful layout, great quality, tasted excellent, good portions. We ordered a bunch of different things from the happy hour menu, all were excellent. Overall, White Chocolate Grill was very good! A nice surprise for a chain that felt more like a place that takes individual care of menu items and customers. I'd definitely return.
So delicious! I've always been curious about this place and it did not disappoint! Clean and classy and great service. It reminds me of Cheesecake Factory only classier. I would definitely recommend stopping by for lunch.
