Puka's in Honolulu is a great spot for a casual meal and drinks. The food selection includes tacos, burgers, cauliflower nachos, and more. The prices are reasonable and there are daily specials like the $11 burger and beer special on Thursdays. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is live music outside which can be quite loud. The service can be hit or miss depending on who your server is, but the bartenders are friendly and attentive. The cauliflower nachos are a must-try and the burger patty is cooked to perfection. The truffle fries are also delicious. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat before hitting up Whole Foods, Puka's is a great option!

It's my neighborhood so I use it often. This is a Whole Foods store in Kahala Mall, right next to Whole Foods, and although it looks like a pub at first glance, the food is delicious. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy just the food without having to order alcohol. The daily menu is a great deal! I often go on Taco Tuesday on Tuesdays. The store opens at 1pm in the afternoon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came in for a burger and brew. Because they were short staffed they offered a limited menu, no burgers. Had the fish tacos (3) and Mac and Jacks. Hubs was happy with the beer. Tacos were mid. Tortilla tasted raw, I know some people don't even warm their corn tortillas. I don't get that, in any event the tortilla was kina cold and thick, the fish tasted like it was previously frozen and chewy. Beer was good, service was excellent, surfing on TV entertaining. Will come back for burgers another day. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Puka's is part of Whole Foods. Had no idea when I looked it up on Yelp and if I had know it would have been easier to find in the mall. We had fries and happy hour priced drink. Great little stop in the mall and it just so happened we needed to go to Whole Foods as well so perfect for us. Not touristy at all but great otherwise. I actually prefer non-touristy. Get tired of the same old tourist bars.
