great place to chill and hang out
Wow! I don’t even know where to start. I guess I’ll bullet point my experience for ease:
1) daughter ordered sweet sour chicken. When they delivered the plate they had French fries as a side instead of steamed rice as outlined on the menu. AND they had to figure out if they should charge us $7 (which is listed), or $12. I’m sorry, but this is ridiculous. I mean just look at the photos attached.
2) i ordered a bowl of miso ramen, no vegetables. When they delivered my bowl it was lukewarm, full of veggies, and the noodles look like they cracked them open from a dollar store ramen noodle pack. I’ve eaten at Kimura (downtown SA, and Tenko at the Pearl). And JINYA in Houston/Austin. This is a terrible representation of ramen. Step your game up Goji.
Unacceptable presentation of food. Customer service extremely below standard. I will never eat here again.
I love checking out new restaurants but this was a burn. I still paid my bill even though no manager came to talk to me about my dissatisfaction. Most people would throw a fit.
Excellent service and ambience, but food was underwhelming and overpriced. The presentation was beautiful but portions were on the small side. The flavor in the gyoza, miso, fried ramen, and Chef chicken were not unlike what you would find at your local Chinese buffet. The garlic chicken was good. Malaysia ried rice was bland, too. Still, service with a smile is hard to come by nowadays so props for that.
