I ordered an avocado blt and red pepper soup. They gave me number. I waited about 30 minutes before asking the kitchen staff if they've started my order and they said they never got it after I've paid and received a table card. I got a refund for my sandwich and soup which is the least they can do. Will never order food from here again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I don't normally write when I have a less than good experience in a shop but felt I must this time. I met with a friend for a drink and bite to eat at Williams Fresh Cafe at the Harborfront. I went to place my order of a Classic Chicken Caeser Salad Listed on the large overhead menu at $14.00....I had to repeat my order several times as the cashier entered the wrong item and had to correct. It was when the order popped up on the screen that I saw it rang up for $14.50 + tax of course. I said "oh, that needs correction, it's not the correct price She said "that's how much a large ceaser is when I add the chicken". I pointed out that the item I asked for, second from the top of the menu board listed it as $14.00. I said that the posted price is what the customer should be paying for. She called another person over who was the ? supervisor for the shift? She was very assertive and said that our prices have changed so that's how much is. We haven't had time to change the sign. Another associate comes along and says "there's tax added to the price that's why it's higher....I'm thinking ....Does anyone know what they're doing at this location? I said that I could appreciate prices going up but the customer should be paying what the advertised/posted price is. She was adamant and not at all friendly, said that there was nothing she could do about it. I did say to her she had a lot to learn about customer service. I went ahead and paid for the salad; wanted to order a seltzer....but they had none in any flavour. It is not about the .50 .....It is about the giving the customer what you are advertising, for the price you advertise and not having the staff be beligerent when you are clearly right in the situation.
