Can I just say that I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! I mean it's super girly I know but even my bf said he would come back. The teas we sooo good and the food was to die for. What an awesome experience it was. I cannot wait to go back :)
This place is cute as can be. This tea room takes all the appropriate cues from our London friends while keeping southern charm and traditions alive. I Went with two other adults and we got the unlimited tea and premium fixings tray with sweet and savory dishes. The tea was the star and we tried so many. This isn't tea like you can get from the store- the flavors are so real and the ingredients are super premium. The tray came with a salad or soup to start, and both were good (as I was able to try my boyfriends soup). Champagne vinaigrette's are hands down my favorite so that was a great start. When the tray came out, we couldn't believe how much food we got on our three tiered tray. We couldn't finish it all, but got pretty close. As far as the stars from each level, I'd say the quiche wins for savory (and was hands down the most delish dish we had, and I've never had a quiche so good in my life) then the cherry white Chocolate scone, finished by a mini creme brûlée from the top dessert tray. We even got dried teas to go (dry mixes are near the door) and they have a clearance section for some of their flavors. This is an amazing place to have a high class lunch with friends, or even dress up and take your kids.
I went with 3 other friends and we had a great time. Our server was Chelsea and she knew the answers to all the questions we had! We tried 3 different teas-one was called Snowflake- had an almond flavor to it. It was sweet. Almost like eating a scone. One was passion fruit-name explains it all, and one was jasmine green tea- very simple and plain but delicious. Two of us got the "Royal Tea," which was a three tiered tower with savory and sweet items. I loved the quiche and the cucumber sandwich. There was also a small sample of their macaroni and cheese on this level. The second tier was a scone with cream and the top tier had several desserts. This also came with a salad for starting. I had the cilantro dressing and it was great. Very light! It was fun getting dressed up. I do recommend a reservation. Overall it was awesome but there are two things that were not so awesome...1. Parking was tough. The lot is very small so a few of us had to drive around for parking. 2. After some time the owner asked us to leave because her next reservation was there. I understand, I suppose, but we were really enjoying ourselves and were catching up and just weren't ready to leave yet.   I would go back again, but I'd have a second plan for if were still chatting and end up getting the boot!  :)
