Nice people & delicious food
Great selection of bread. A daily must for a lot of us Berliners! They also have areas to sit for coffee. ( not the best coffee in pberg but bread wise there's quite a few)
Today I have visited the Zeit für Brot at Weinbergsweg 2, 10119 Berlin. I have bought the Zeit für Brot baked goods several times, and at two of their locations. They never ceased to amaze me, since their ''schnecken'' were always super delicious. However today I ordered 2 cinnamon schnecken, and one was the usual great quality, moist, and full of delicious cinnamon filling, while the other was an utter disappointment. It had little to no filling, it felt as if I was eating plain bread, and what bothered me the most was the dough that tasted stale as if it was 1-2 days old (I have eaten ''schnecken'' after a day or two and I know how the texture changes). It really bothers me, that this bun was sold at the same price as the other one, who was clearly superior in quality - the less-filled-stale ''schnecke'' really was not worth the price. The chocolate, and white chocolate-raspberry ''schnecken'' were delicious though :). Still, I give you a lower rating in hopes this does not happen again.
