I went here for brunch for the first time with my girls today and I have to say that I found it very mixed. The location is small, there is little space, the tables are far too close together and the staff was friendly, but unfortunately we had to wait almost 50 minutes! Waiting for our food. The quality and the food itself was really tasty, but unfortunately somehow nothing special.. also very overpriced... Therefore: once and never again. Due to poor organization, during one visit we only got food after 60 minutes, while other guests got their food after 20 minutes. When asked, the food was brought, but it was cold/lukewarm and the bread was soggy, which suggests that it had probably been sitting in the kitchen for 30 minutes. It can happen to anyone, but at €15 for 2 loaves of bread with toppings you might expect them to be re-prepared if they were already soggy and mushy. It's not the end of the world, but as I said, with such waiting times in combination with the price, a compensatory offer would be appropriate. Bread was replaced individually but there was no sauce. This is my first negative review of a restaurant/café because I used to work in the catering industry and can somehow empathize when it's so stressful. We called to ask if there was still a table available, we were told over the phone that they don't accept reservations and that we should come here spontaneously. When we got there a service employee asked us if we had reserved? We stood for about 5-10 minutes...until a nice employee offered us to sit on a couch to wait. She offered us drinks but we declined. We were allowed to watch as others sat down WITHOUT a reservation. After another 10 minutes we decided to leave. I am a trainee hotel manager and work in service myself. I wanted to relax and be served on my vacation. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
