Found this place looking for something a little more quaint and quiet for dinner with my wife and a good friend.   The front half of the place is a very nice bar with very attentive staff and are seated in the room behind. We decided to do a few small plates and wine for starters.  We ordered the guacamole, the chicken foie gras and the spicy spinach artichoke an gratin. The guacamole was made table side and was absolutely amazing.  The other two were also wonderful.  Our waiter was very attentive and kept our wine glasses full. We then had churrascos of grilled shrimp and the Texas lamb pappardelle.  The shrimp were decently large on the skewers and there were 6 in total.  They were perfectly done.  I did not try the pasta but was told it was very good.   The room was crowded by the time we were half way through dinner and was kinda loud but we could still talk easily.   Highly recommended location for dinner and not overly priced either.  A great find.
First time here having lunch with friends.  Glad one of the people in our group recommended Zinc a nice little gem of a restaurant and bar.  I had the Lamb burger with sweet potato fries and it was delicious.  We did sit outside and had a great breeze and time.  I highly recommend you try Zinc
I really enjoyed the ambiance of Zinc Bistro & Wine Bar. Their outdoor alley/patio is about as cute as it gets for a San Antonio vibe. My chicken caesar salad was good. The salad itself was rather small for a $12 salad but the chicken was seasoned and cooked fabulously. However, I did order the Calamari appetizer and was a bit disappointed in the lack of flavor although I thoroughly enjoyed the aioli that accompanied it. Overall, I would come back but definitely would encourage trying something else on the menu.
