This fast food and Chinatown can be both really attractive for tourists. Zippy's Nimitz serves Hawaiian cuisine. Have perfectly cooked chili, fried chicken and katsu at this place when you happen to be near it. Do not leave without enjoying good French toasts, doughnuts and flija. If you like beer, order it at this spot, it's delicious here. Trying the great coffee is a decent idea.
It's easy to find this fast food due to its great location. The competent staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Zippy's Nimitz is remarkable for its cool service. Local style breakfast! Plus two scoops of Mac salad. Anyway, this is close to fast food but a guilty pleasure of local island food. Zippy's Nimitz: I took my family here for a 4th of July brunch. It just so happened that they have something NEW on the menu. The Chicken Katsorean - Chicken Katsu but with a twist, it has the world famous Zippy's Korean sauce. The sauce for the Korean Style Fried Chicken but on the Katsu plate! How exciting! It has sweet and savory flavors and also comes with the katsu sauce. The food was just exceptional with the Korean sauce. Though it is only available for the month of July 2023 (as of this writing) maybe in the future it'll be a permanent part of the menu. Great job Zippy's Cool part of the experience was the QR Code to pay for your meal. No need to wait. Smart way to manage the staff shortages and help the food industry workers from burn out.
