This is one of my favorite places in the freaking world!!!!! The food is amazing and very homemade, the drinks make you feel warm and cozy, the staff is BEYOND nice and attentive, and everything about the interior is amazingly homey and comforting. Bonus points: they play great music in here! Zuckers is truly my happy place.

I had the most beautiful start to my Saturday morning at Zucker Bakery. ZB is a quaint coffee shop + bakery in the East village, with fresh baked goods, toasts, and some other dining options. AMBIANCE: This has casual, homey vibe - the kind of place you feel warm walking into. Seating is minimal, but if you're lucky enough to find a place to sit, you won't ever want to leave. SERVICE: The two ladies working there were nothing short of kind. Food and drinks were brought to your table. FOOD: We shared a cinnamon rose and labneh toast. CINNAMON ROSE // A spiral cinnamon roll, with thin and crispy layers on the outside, and a warm, gooey center. A perfect small pastry to start the day! LABNEH TOAST // Four thick pieces of challah toast, schmeared with labneh (basically a strained yogurt!), and topped with za'atar + a drizzle of olive oil. A perfect savory toast with Israeli flare. This is served with an ice cold peppermint tea. There are no words for this tea. Imagine Santa's elves collecting all the candy canes in the north pole and creating a perfectly sweet and minty nectar for the one and only Mr. Clause. That is what this tea is. Next time I'm back in the area, I'll make sure to stop by and sample some more of the delicious treats they serve. Way to go Zucker cafe!
