One of the best restaurants I've been to, the food, the service, the atmosphere is more than perfect. They deserve a Michelin Star Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Our visit to De Silveren Spiegel was unlike any other dining experience we have ever had. We were welcomed by the friendliest staff who took our coats and bags before seating us at a beautifully arranged table in this wonderfully historic setting. After a brief introduction to the history of the the venue we were presented with 3 of the most incredible amuse bouche which excited both in design and flavour. We opted for the 5 course lunch menu with a cheese course for dessert and we could not believe what we were presented with every step of the way. Each course was so beautifully constructed into works of culinary art. The look of this food was so exciting that we avoided looking at other tables as to not ruin the surprise of the dish that we were about to be presented with. My wife and I were blown away be the flavours we experienced, flavours that are so incredibly complex and pleasing that they are indescribable in this short review. Each course was described and explained and our waiters were as enthused to present them to us as we were to receive them. If you are ever in town this venue is not to be missed.
