The lady at the front house was playing with her phone when we walk in the restaurant don’t even bother to serve us, not friendly at all, unprofessional attitude. The food itself was fine, but steaks I order was raw. Not the best experience we have in Porto
Had a reservation. For some reason staff packed people who had reservations on the first floor, refusing to take them upstairs.Good wine list and waiter made good wine recommendations. We ordered a trio of traditional appetizers, a bird nest salad and baby goat (recommended by the waiter). Overall impression: vegetables were way too salty and meats were too dry. Had high expectations, but disappointed.
Word of advice, book restaurants ahead of time in Porto or be left scrambling to find decent places to eat. eLeBe was our 6th option where we just gave up and went with anything that looked fairly decent. The service was a bit spotty. Server gave us something we didn't order but gave us the dish for free. Vegetable soup was whatever. Scallop was good but you can tell it was mayo based which didn't make it feel original. The black pork cheek was okay if you like braised food. I personally hate the taste of anything braised so eff me. The baby goat was hearty and good and packed a filling punch. Like I said, this is a good 6th choice option.
