Service and ambience was great, but the quality of the food did not nearly match the price. They are trying to make some slightly more interesting dishes, but the cured meat was straight from the fridge and tasteless, the “potato foam” was just oily, and everything came with bread. The octopus was underwhelming, swimming in oil and praprika, and the steak tartare was just the flavour of raw onion. All the portions were very small. If this was refined food it would be okay for the price and portion size, but it was bland and lifeless without finesse. A shame really, since we live right nearby.
It is OK to take a beer or wine. A little bit far to be a restaurant, seems that all bar in the neighbourhood have the same menu's.we really wait for something new in Lavapies
La Falda bar a true little gem for tapasen. Every time I come to Madrid I visit the bar once or twice because the atmosphere is local and nice, the feeling of being pampered with an exceptionally tapas. The food is perfectly set and the menu is sufficiently mixed. so from here I can only recommend La Falda
