Since the café reopened, the concept has - unfortunately - changed. The store was remodeled as follows: - One counter became 3 pieces arranged in a triangle. Unfortunately, the seating options at the table from before have been taken away. - You can tell from the equipment and structure in the front part that no “working groups” are wanted here. The back part of the store is intended for people to work. - Unfortunately, the previous flair is completely gone. It used to feel like a living room and everything seemed very inviting. The all-white layout makes the store feel rather expansive and sterile. Check out the recent reviews of the old store...almost every time the lovely atmosphere is highlighted. This should have been received! - To use the “Workspace” there, you can either buy a day ticket for €17 (1 coffee included) or a flexible ticket for €2.80 (per hour). - The prices for drinks have also been increased compared to before (for example: Flat White from €3.80 to €4.50). However, given the current situation, such an increase in the price of drinks and cakes is understandable! You just don't feel as comfortable there as you used to. The idea that people sit there for hours, working and not eating anything is understandable! But you could, for example, introduce a “minimum consumption card”. Everyone sitting there has to pay €15, but €10 of that is suitable for consumption. I think 17€ (-1 coffee) just to sit there and work on the laptop is a very drastic change! It's not just shop owners who are affected by rising prices... Unfortunately, I will go to other coffees (Coffee Fellows, Birdies,) and work there in the future.
