Third time came here. Ordered steamed egg with minced meat, fresh and soft taste. Fish fillet with double pepper with noodles, highly recommended if love spicy ️ food. Cumin beef, good taste but a little bit too dry and some of them not 100% fresh, might not order again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I visited this restaurant in 2005 or so, and it was great. Recently, in November of 2023 I went there and I was shocked. Dirty tables and floors, horrible plates (one dish was served in a huge metal bowl like the one we use to prep ingredients), unfriendly staff, mediocre food, and very expensive for the small portions they offer. To say that I was disappointed is to say nothing. Even the sign and the windows and doors look dirty and creepy. I wonder what happened to it. Better close or change owners and staff. Horrible and unbelievable Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Sei Bar Wakefield might be the best Hunan restaurant in Mass. It is a small restaurant in Wakefield. There might be a long wait during busy weekend hours especially for a large party. Every dish I've gotten there is just chef's kiss. The handmade meatball soup tastes very homey; a good soup for the soul. Braised sliced pork with preserved veggies is just so tender and braised well. Definitely go there with a couple of people so you can try different dishes. I would go to Wakefield just for Sei Bar!
