A stylish café-restaurant I visited in Asakusa. It has large windows and a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious. They have a wide selection of whiskey, and it looks like you can even enjoy the bar from noon onward! It’s now one of the places I definitely want to visit whenever I’m in Japan. We had eggs Benedict and pudding for breakfast. Unfortunately our food was served refrigerator cold (both bacon and egg) and my egg was overcooked and was firm. I also personally thought the pesto chicken didn't belong on that dish and also was served cold. Pudding was nice and the service was ok! I was in my hotel room searching for a late breakfast when I stumbled upon a restaurant called 101. I saw a photo of an interesting dish that looked like eggs on top of rice with a lot of sides. However, when I arrived, that dish wasn't on the menu. My server graciously went to the kitchen and accommodated my request, and boy, was I happy they did! It was absolutely delicious and filling. The meal included a rice, egg, and ketchup combo, which was new to me but totally awesome, along with a saucy hamburger side, shrimp tempura, a fried potato dish, and a salad. Unfortunately, I only have one stomach, so I couldn’t finish it all. I also had an Americano, but that was just okay. Vibes were chill too with some music in the background.
