You can always try perfectly cooked chilli chicken, chicken and rice and soup at this restaurant. Take your chance to taste good tea. 1222 Hainan Chicken Rice provides food delivery for the convenience of its customers. The cheerful staff meets you at this place all year round. Terrific service is something clients agree upon here. There is lovely atmosphere at this spot. This restaurant scored 4.8 in the Google rating system.

Have been a regular at their old location for years, but somehow only made it to the new shop after almost 10 months. Happy to report that some things haven’t changed at all. The boss is still as friendly and welcoming as ever, greeting customers with the same warmth that made the old place feel familiar. He now wears a chef uniform!! More importantly, the chicken rice is still every bit as good as I remember. The chicken is tender, juicy, and flavourful, while the rice carries that fragrant aroma that makes you finish the plate before you realise it. One thing I really appreciate is that they are still generous with their portions. No “slice the chicken into paper-thin halves and call it a serving” nonsense that seems to have become a trend at some chicken rice shops. Here, you actually get a proper portion that leaves you satisfied. The new premises are brighter, more comfortable, and easier to enjoy a relaxed meal in. Service is efficient even when it’s busy, and the place is kept clean and tidy. Their chilli sauce deserves a mention too! Spicy and punchy (garlicky) but it is a perfect companion to the chicken. It’s not easy for a restaurant to relocate and maintain the same quality, but they’ve managed to do exactly that. If you’re looking for honest, delicious chicken rice with generous portions and friendly service, this place continues to be one of the better options around.
