This cafe offers you nicely cooked tenderloin, fried chicken and sausages. Try good biscuits. If you want to taste some great coffee, 12th Street Cafe is a decent choice for you.
The cheerful staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The fast service demonstrates a high level of quality at this place. Here you will pay democratic prices. But on Facebook, this spot hasn't received a high rating.

Waitress was very friendly so I do not want to take anything away from the people working there. They are 5 star employees. But whoever manages or runs this place needs to lose their job.. I went in and sat down to a sticky nasty table with coke/oil stains running down the wall besides me with food stuck for months. I will not be eating here because who knows what goes on in the kitchen...

This became our breakfast place while on vacation. Excellent down home/ comfort food, good prices and wonderful service. We will be back anytime we are in the area.

12th Street Cafe is an old standard of the Muncie for cheap eats. It's not clean - it's not fabulous - but it will get you full for a few bucks. My mom has a half order of biscuits and gravy which she said were "perfect". I had steak and eggs with potatoes. It was fine. Steak had a decent med rare cook and the eggs were over hard - just as I ordered. When I added some salt, pepper, and franks red hot - the meal was fine and filling. The coffee was delicious! If you want to meet some loooong time south side residents and enjoy cheap eats for a fast buck - this is the place to go..
