If you want to remember Faubourg Marigny, come to this bar first. Being at 13 Monaghan, try good bbq sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches and turkey. A collection of delicious bourbon, Irish coffee or ale is recommended to guests. Some clients like great iced coffee at this place.
Musicians perform live music in the evening. Well-trained employees welcome people all year round. There is nice atmosphere at this spot.

So glad that 13 is back in business! Just had a delicious chicken sandwich there and spoke to the new owner, who was a long time fan of the old place and wanted it back... so he made it happen! They've still got totchos on the menu, and are bringing back lots of other menu favorites. While visiting for 4 days, I ate at this location twice. Best gumbo hands down! This place gets crowded during the weekend so prepare for that. My group had to seat ourselves and was served in a decent time frame.
