We stopped in for lunch as this was a local restaurant, located in the Ice Den. Apparently they see themselves as an up scale restaurant in North Scottsdale. We had a server who seemed totally disinterested in service and couldn't walk away from the table quick enough. The prices were quite high. My wife ordered a Caesar salad, ($15.50), to add chicken was an additional $7.00. The salad came and was a plate of cut up romaine lettuce, some shaved parmesan and croutons. Not exactly what could be considered good value. I ordered the cheeseburger ($21.50). I asked for medium rare. The burger was extremely over cooked and tasted burnt. The addition of a diet Coke was $4.50. It was not even close to a good burger. Red Robin is a far more tasty burger than 18 Degrees serves. We had been in 18 Degrees after a hockey game. The menu was limited due to the hour, but the food was prepared well and was tasty. We sat at the bar and found it to be very welcoming, even though the bartender was wearing a Red Sox hat. The shame of the matter is that we live very nearby and wanted to like this place. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The waitress was more elusive than bigfoot. I'm still not convinced she actually worked there. If you enjoy getting your own drinks and being charged for things you never receive this is the place for you. What a joke. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
