The food is phenomenal, but the service practices need serious improvement. While the food here is truly excellent, I have significant concerns about how payment is handled. The server holds the card machine and doesn’t let you see the bill or what you’re actually paying for. They then show you the tip screen while watching over your shoulder. I’ve been to many restaurants, and the standard practice is to leave the bill at the table and give customers time to review it before paying. That doesn’t happen here. After paying, They do not give you a receipt or even asked if I wanted one. Make sure you ask for a receipt. I’ve returned several times hoping things would change, but unfortunately, they haven’t. A few things to be aware of: Servers may offer add-ons like “Would you like black truffle on your burger?” without mentioning the significant cost. Always ask for pricing before agreeing. Bread is not complimentary - they charge for it, and no. They will not disclose it. It’s disappointing because the food truly is great, but I won’t be coming back due to these practices. Just make sure you ask about prices upfront so you’re not caught off guard. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

For it to be such a tourist spot, I was pleasantly surprised, the food was above expectations. Ingredients were fresh and dishes very well presented. I had the burrata and lamb appetizers for lunch. Very good portions, actually bigger than expected. It was a beautiful day to eat on the patio, but I opted to eat inside. The restaurant is small, so I'd recommend reservations, even tho I walked right in. It's at a perfect location right at the beginning of rodeo drive. So you can go for a nice walk afterwards. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had such a wonderful experience at 208 Rodeo Restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the restaurant team & Stacey made us feel welcome and taken care of — the kind of hospitality you expect on Rodeo Drive, and they absolutely delivered. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely professional. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a Beverly Hills dinner. Food was delicious, beautifully presented, and arrived promptly. Overall, an excellent meal topped off by truly standout service. Highly recommend — We will definitely be returning! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+
