*** Update *** Sadly, the standards here seemed to have dropped significantly. Whereas it was always my single go-to dining place whenever I visited St John’s, the visit today was terribly disappointing. I’m not sure if they have changed their French baguette supplier but the « baguette » today was not even a baguette; it was just a regular bread bun. My banh mi was served with warm fillings but in an untoasted, cold bun. There was no crust to speak off, the bun texture was powdery, crumbly and it was plain soggy. Mind you, I was dining in so there was no excuse for the cold, soggy bun. I had gone there with a carrier bag with an intention to order 5 takeouts for colleagues but instead left empty-handed because none of my colleagues, tasting today’s banh mi, would have believed any of the compliments that I had previously heaped on 3 Sisters. It was an utter disappointment. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
