Last weekend, I visited 36 Riverside in Butwal, and it was a delightful experience. Tucked away by the side of the Tinau River, this spot is a perfect blend of nature and good food. The ambiance is serene, with the gentle sound of the river adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The seating area is spacious, offering a great view of the river and the surrounding greenery, making it an ideal place to unwind. One of the highlights of my visit was the momos. They were simply the best I’ve had in a long time. The dumplings were perfectly steamed, with a soft, thin outer layer that encased a juicy, flavorful filling. The accompanying spicy chutney added just the right kick to the dish. It’s clear that the chefs at 36 Riverside know their way around this popular Nepali snack, and I would highly recommend trying them. In addition to the momos, the service was commendable. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The overall vibe of 36 Riverside is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or family. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
