Some restaurants serve great food. A few make you feel at home. Ristorante 433 did both. During our week in Rome, we found ourselves coming back again and again, because every meal there was simply that good. Before long, the staff recognized us immediately, greeted us like old friends, and always seemed genuinely happy to see us. We shared laughs, chatted, and looked forward to every visit. The food was outstanding. We fell completely in love with the fried artichokes (carciofi alla giudia) and ordered them more than once because they were just too good to resist. Every pasta dish we tried was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. By the way, I would like to point out that the 433 team truly specializes in authentic Roman cuisine. No touristy food. And a special mention for the sparkling house wine (vino frizzante): affordable, refreshing, and surprisingly wonderful. It became a regular part of our meals and one of those small vacation pleasures we’ll remember long after returning home. In a city filled with restaurants, Ristorante 433 stood out not only because of the excellent food, but because of the warmth and kindness of the people who work there. By the end of our trip, it felt less like a restaurant and more like a place we belonged. Thank you for making our stay in Rome so memorable.
