I love this café. The food is amazing. I seriously appreciate the mix of staples and unique entrees that keep each visit refreshing. My personal bar by which to measure a breakfast diner are their pancakes and breakfast combo, and these pancakes are big and delicious! The portions are great and prices are reasonable. Their home fries are also very good, highly recommend. The service is very friendly and busy serving the many customers as I wait patiently to be seated and serviced. As you're seated the tables are beautiful, they have nice centerpieces and a nice little book of platitudes along with the staples. As you walk in, you're greeted with a lively and warming atmosphere, nice decor, a proud American/Jamaican infusion. A very family friendly experience. There's gentle jazz music that plays in the background along with the sounds of conversations and a busy kitchen. What it lacks in roomy space it more than makes up for with a nice cozy scene with great lighting and a memorable experience every time I come. This was our first time trying the 5 mile Cafe. We ordered Breakfast Take Out.The Food was Excellent and we were Very Happy with our order.The Eggs were Light and Fluffy, just the way we like them.The Homefries and Bacon along with the Bagel was Cooked Perfectly and The Stuffed French Toast was Delightful.When we picked up our order, the environment seemed Friendly and Positive and the Staff Welcoming and Accomodating. We Definitely will be Ordering Again and will Consider 5 Mile as a possible Venue for any Future Events.We are very Happy We Tried it! Service: Take out Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Stuffed French Toast, Toast, Eggs Benedict with Home Fries
