Francesca served us and she is a gem - with the best haircut seen in centuries. She was gracious and was so knowledgeable of the wine and tastings available - the best bar experience we’ve had in months. She is exceptional and deserves all the praise - Grazie. I am extremely disappointed with how this restaurant has handled my booking. My flight was delayed by several hours, which something entirely outside my control, so I let the restaurant know as soon as I realised we wouldn't make it in time before the closure of the kitchen, in order for them to be able to resell the table. Despite this, I was charged an £80 cancellation fee. I have since sent several emails and Instagram messages (given there is no phone number to get hold of someone...) asking them to review the charge, but I have received no response at all. I understand that restaurants need cancellation policies, but charging £80 after I cancelled as soon as possible to explain a genuine travel disruption, and then completely ignoring my attempts to resolve the matter, feels deeply unfair and reflects very poor customer service. I hope the management will finally contact me and provide a reasonable resolution. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
