We had high expectations of this restaurant because it is always full of people. So we tried eating here for lunch but we were very disappointed with their food, it was a total rip-off! ️ We ordered their Budae Jiggae. The waiter said it's good for 4-6 people. The server was even confused if it's the right dish since he called it by the name of a different dish. He called for help and another waiter confirmed that it's the correct one. Anyway, the Budae Jiggae they served is not even close to the photo in their menu. It was all watered down. When I asked them where are the noodles, he tried scooping all the contents and after a while, there were very few strands of noodles found at the bottom of the pot. The waiter even told us that we can just buy extra noodles if that's what we want Seriously, you told us it's good for 4 people then you're serving us something that could only half-fill one person? We've had better and more satisfying Budae Jiggaes in other Korean restaurants, full of noodles and toppings, at a worthy price. We have been to 52stone Family Restaurant along FilAm Friendship highway, the location is accessible and there's plenty of parking space besides the building. The food is acceptable but there's a lot of room for improvement, perhaps hiring a culinary chef to add modern flavor. The ambiance is comfortable by far. Singing staff for customers celebrating their birthday at the restaurant was a plus. Looking forward to include my family on my next visit.
