The EBT sign shouldn't be on the door if you can't or don't accept it. Everyone may not have cash or other payment methods readily available. The store is clean, well-stocked, and has a wide variety for a corner store.

First 7-eleven I’ve ever been in that never has anything. Shelves are bare most of the time. No gum. Not a lot of choices in the store. I would bypass it and just keep going a few blocks down to Royal Farms, honestly. But the staff is nice.
