7-Eleven has really gone downhill, and it feels like a lack of consistent quality control across many locations. A big issue seems to be how individual stores are run—some owners or operators just aren’t maintaining proper standards. From expired or questionable food quality to poor customer service, the experience can be very hit or miss. There are times when it feels like products aren’t being checked properly, which is concerning, especially for ready-to-eat or hot food items. Compared to competitors like Buc-ee's and Wawa, the difference is very noticeable. Those places focus heavily on cleanliness, fresh food, and overall customer experience—something 7-Eleven seems to be lacking right now. Overall, 7-Eleven really needs a major reset when it comes to ownership standards, food quality, and customer service. Until that improves, it’s hard to recommend stopping here for anything beyond the basics.

Very disappointing experience at this 7-Eleven location. I bought a container of “fresh fruit” around midnight, but when I opened it at my hotel, it was spoiled with a bad smell and visible mold. When I returned the next day, the employee (Sam) was dismissive and unprofessional, asking “What should I do for it?” instead of addressing the issue. This is not the level of quality or service I expect from 7-Eleven. I’ll be reporting this to corporate.
