I visited this 7-Eleven location today (June 6, 2026) around 9:29 AM to purchase six California Super Lotto tickets and then get gas. When I asked for six separate lottery tickets, the cashier printed them all on a single ticket. I politely requested separate tickets. Instead of accommodating the request, she became visibly upset and told me she could no longer refund or void the ticket. She stated that her register would now be short and that she would have to cover it herself. She then angrily told me to leave the store and make my purchase elsewhere. I left the counter and proceeded to the gas pump, where I had already authorized payment via debit card at the pump. After pumping only about two dollars, the pump suddenly stopped and displayed a message indicating it had been stopped by the register. When I went back inside to inquire, the same cashier denied stopping the pump, accused me of making things up, and again told me to leave the store immediately. The entire interaction was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. As a paying customer, I expected basic courtesy and the ability to complete a simple transaction (separate lottery tickets and gas). Instead, I was treated with hostility and had my gas purchase interrupted. This experience reflects poorly on both the employee and 7-Eleven’s standards for customer service. Corporate should review training and oversight at this store. I will not be returning to this location and strongly encourage others to consider shopping elsewhere if they value respectful service.
