Located on Nagono Street in Nagoya, 80's Kitchen serves as a pub and bar known for its lively atmosphere and dedication to 80s music. Catering primarily to those seeking a casual night out or solo dining experience, this compact establishment offers a standing-room setting, with only three bar stools available for seating. The ambiance combines loud music and a cozy vibe that some find charmingly lacks personal space, akin to a quintessential "hole in the wall" joint.
Regrettably, the venue is not equipped with wheelchair-accessible features. However, it offers a variety of quick bites, small plates, and a range of alcoholic beverages, including beer. The menu, handwritten and often changing, is said to be surprisingly gourmet, with dishes that could rival more upscale restaurants. Open from Tuesday to Sunday, its operating hours vary slightly at the weekend, closing an hour earlier on Sundays. Judging by the feedback, locals are notably friendly, though visitor reviews are quite dated, suggesting recent developments (if any) remain unreported.
Please note that 80's Kitchen operates on a cash-only basis, so prepared payments are advised. Although price information isn't specified, the consensus paints a picture of affordability. Any visiting patrons should expect a unique, albeit tightly-packed experience, marked especially by charismatic musical homage to the 1980s.

Small. Cramped. Loud music. standing room only (three bar stools). This is the ultimate hole in the wall joint. What's else is there to say? 80's music. Beer (and other stuff if you want). A chief that can really cook. And I mean serve up dishes that would easily be in a Michelin star restaurant. You think I'm joking? Just try anything on the often changing hand written menu. Just watch out for the locals, they are too nice and can become additive. You'll not want to leave.
