Ordered the Pork Noodle Soup Hue style (#34). It came out very fast and the place was lively. The portion was very fair and came with all the traditional assorted meat cuts. My friend’s portion came out much much later than mine. Accoutrements were included! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

999 Pho is the largest pho restaurant I’ve ever been in, and it was packed — in the best way. Before you could even get your bearings at the door, they were already seating you. Service was fast without ever feeling rushed, which is a rare combination. The food was excellent. The deep-fried egg rolls were a standout, and they came with a generous portion of pickled carrots — something I truly appreciated, because most places give you a sad little pinch of them. Not here. All the food arrived hot, which sounds basic but matters more than people realize. I also tried oxtail for the first time. Worth it. Five stars. I’ll be back, and I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
