My #Parisian #bistros “À Jean Nicot” is a café restaurant like one would like to find on every street corner in Paris. This historic bistro created in 1910 and revamped in the 1950s is the kind of place where you can enjoy a homemade daily special for lunch. Extremely fresh products (green salad, tomato, raw ham and high quality mozzarella) traditional dishes (beef bourguignon, cassoulet, cod brandade, homemade Lorraine quiche, tender roast beef and sautéed potatoes) and gourmet desserts of the day: Saint-honoré as at home and airy rum baba washed down from the bottle are gracefully served by the boss in this retro decor. Hidden between the luxury boutiques of rue Saint Honoré, (at 173) a stone's throw from the Opera, the Louvre and Place Vendôme, "À Jean Nicot" is a perfect and inexpensive break for lunch before continuing the work of continuing shopping or going to the museum. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.). Copyright: Elizabeth Skerla Text: Beamono Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
