One of my favourite restaurants of all time. Fabulous fresh fish, excellent service. Great value for money. Have been over 20 times, and our meals have been consistently superb. Antonio and Sergio are the best waiters ever. Nothing fancy, just a great place to eat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–35

In Ferragudo, A Ria is the best restaurant serving Portuguese cuisine! My favorite Portuguese restaurant in Ferragudo (and the Portimão area). Antonio, Sergio, and Antonio are the best servers; friendly and attentive. Reservations are best at dinner, especially if you want to sit outside. They’re open for lunch, too. Forget all the tourist places. Eat authentic Portuguese cuisine here. They are especially known for their cataplana. My wife loves the chicken in mushroom sauce. I try something new every time - never disappointed. It’s a small, cozy place. You’ll love it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–25 Parking: In the heart of Ferragudo, just off the square. Ferragudo is the most magical village in the Algarve.
