Great little cafe! Coffee was excellent and the pastries were fresh. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Cozy atmosphere with nice music. Perfect spot to work or catch up with friends. Will be back! Price per person: NZ$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Yes

First morning in Auckland. No good morning or any acknowledgment. I was going to eat in but the welcome made me change my mind. Bought some very good looking croissants but found they were not freshly baked. Possibly from yesterday. I know how hard it is to run a food & beverage business but that is a real disappointment. So no service and old stale food. Meal type: Breakfast Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Great cheese scone! Stopped by for coffee on my weekly hunt for good cafes. The cappuccino was ok. Nice spacious place with plenty of seating. Cabinet food supplied by its sister cafe up the road, through the NZME building and a hop skip and jump. Friendliest staff member is Karol (with a K and speaks Spanish). I got a smile out of the barista too. And a few odd looks from the two sorting the catering food and chatting to each other the entire visit. Yes, guys I’m taking photos. Of the cafe not of you . Melba offers a catering service for the businesses around and about. Newspaper provided. I liked that. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
