ACTUAL KYOTO was a really cool and enjoyable place to visit in Kyoto. The atmosphere felt modern, stylish, and unique, with a very nice local feeling that made the experience special. The place was clean, well designed, and pleasant to walk around. It felt like a good spot to discover something a little different while exploring Kyoto, especially if you enjoy interesting shops, design, lifestyle items, or a more modern Kyoto vibe. Overall, ACTUAL KYOTO was a great stop during our time in the city. Nice atmosphere, good style, and a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something unique in Kyoto.

Accidentally walked by this cafe. I think it's cool that it's beside the railways. Coffee is good. Cheesecake is awesomeeee! Mid time of our stay, there are a lot of people in line already. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

PSA Google maps location slightly off, enter from the narrow road right beside the tracks. The atmosphere sucks. Understandably this is one of those places that's super uncomfortable, because they want you to leave asap, so seats have no back rest and tables are literally at knee level. but it's ridiculously dark. Everyone's fighting for the only two seats on the second floor which gets sunlight The basque cheesecake is the only legit one I've came across in Kyoto, and I've been here 5 months. Most "basque cheesecake" here are crumbly, closer to NY style, and thus absolutely wrong. This one has a creamy texture as it should, see the video Unfortunately, matcha latte is not up to par. When drank by itself, it's absolutely terrible with this weird taste and unpleasant bitterness. When mixed, it's much better, although still not good. It's got this astringency Not cheap, not worth a visit, unless you really crave a proper basque burnt cheesecake Food: 4 Atmosphere: 1
