First off, service was good. I was greeted when I came in and my order was taken promptly. The food didn’t take long to be ready either that was a plus. However, I did not love the food. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and the chicken was very rubbery in texture. The macaroni was lacking as well. I was not happy with the quality of the food. I lived in Hawaii for 4 years and although I can't say that this takes me back, it was delicious and some of the best Hawaiian food I've had here on the mainland (at least fast food plate lunch style eats). We got the BBQ mix plate and all the meats were tender and flavorful. And I absolutely loved the Mac salad. We also got the spam musubi and chicken musubi. Both weren't exactly what I was expecting but good nonetheless. My new favorite Hawaiian bbq spot!! It was my first time trying this place and the guy who took my order was very friendly and told me about their lunch special, which is a free drink with your food. I got the beef ribs and they were DELICIOUS! I can confidently say that they have the best macaroni salad. AHI Hawaiian BBQ is the best in town, even better than ONO..
