Nestled in the bustling neighborhood of Ogikubo, AJISAI offers a unique dining experience focusing on Pan Asian cuisine. The restaurant is open primarily for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday and presents a casual, cozy atmosphere ideal for both solo diners and small groups. While the service includes both dine-in and takeaway options, delivery isn't currently available. Guests can enjoy a selection of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine, along with their meal.
AJISAI's menu is noted for its creativity and frequent updates, providing diners with a variety of quick bites and small plates to explore. However, some visitor feedback notes that the seating could use improvements as it may appear run down in places. Despite this, reviews generally indicate that the food quality ranges from good to excellent, especially for fans of pale ale which is featured on tap.
Accessibility might be a concern to those requiring wheelchair access, as there are no accessible entrances, seating, or parking. Reservations are accepted, which can be beneficial considering the establishment's popularity during peak hours. Payment flexibility is offered with credit card acceptance. With the last available review dating back six years, diners looking for up-to-date impressions may find this information limited, and there doesn't appear to be current input from the restaurant regarding any changes that might have occurred since.
An ever evolving joint that is great for a long stay. Their main beer on tap isbass pale ale which is great for a pale ale fan like myself. Menu is quite creative, and ever changing. There's always something new to try out.
I had read some mixed reviews on this restaurant prior to visiting. Honestly, the food was good to excellent. Got one extra order and they forgot one item but no worries. Had lots and really tasty. They only gave us the one original order sheet. I recomend ordering everything you want the first time. They were very busy but still served us in a reasonable time. Totally met, or slightly exceeded my expectation.
