Food was delicious and well made. Service needs to be improved for this price point: 1. Staff need to be more attentive - had to ask for water multiple times, forgot to give us the bill after multiple reminders, caught them chit chatting at the cashier. There were only 3 servers and it was not full house. 2. Only valet parking available 3. Stairs only (fyi). Amalur delivers a fantastic dining experience. The food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and well-executed dishes throughout. The standout for me was the fresh sole, which was perfectly cooked, and the Galena beef, which was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. We sat next to the open kitchen, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening. Watching the chefs work with such precision and confidently master the fire added another layer to the experience. One thing to note is that the restaurant gets very busy, so I’d recommend booking well in advance. Because the place was packed, the food took a little longer to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food and an engaging dining experience.
