Brilliant in every way. The food & atmosphere is great, and the service is very friendly. I confess, I don’t want too many tourists to come here (my family lives here, so I don’t consider myself “just” a tourist), but I want them to do good business! If you’re from a loud culture (looking at you, Americans, Australians—that’s me—and Brits), be respectful & speak quietly, like you should do everywhere. Think of yourselves as ambassadors for your homeland. (Sorry, I get embarrassed, or embarrass myself, sometimes.) Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Affordable, homey, friendly, always with salad and fries, free unlimited ketchup and mustard (most burger places don't have this) I'm a big fan and one of the best burgers in town. I always go after or before work Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Last year when I visited Japan I ended up going to Amber Place multiple times. Amazing burgers that beat anything I’ve had in America. Last year I had the sukiyaki burger which was a weekly special and I’ve been craving it ever since. I was fortunate enough to go back to Japan this year and get to experience their burgers again, and bring some extra friends along to experience them. The avocado burger is another must try!
