The ice cream may be excellent, but even the best ice cream in the world cannot make up for poor customer service. Unfortunately, the young lady serving me was quite rude and unwelcoming. She did not speak a decent English which made communication difficult, and her attitude made the whole experience rather unpleasant. I was initially charged €12.30 for three flavours. After she realised there had been a mistake, getting the €2.10 refund became unnecessarily complicated because I had paid by card. In the end, I received the €1.50 in cash, a small cup of ice cream and a cappuccino, which I had to wait for separately. By that point, I simply decided to leave the cappuccino as a “donation” to the young lady rather than continue with the situation. I am not writing this because of the price or even the ice cream itself. The main issue was the lack of friendliness, communication and customer service. A great product deserves equally good service. Hopefully, the management will take this feedback seriously, because the experience could have been completely different with a more welcoming and professional approach.

Zero flexibility. They can do ice balls in a cup, but won’t do it in a cone, not even for a sad three year old who really wanted a simple ball. No, instead they do that stupid flower, because it’s “the concept”. Teenagers serving should really receive one basic customer service training, obviously they can’t think for themselves to make a zero effort change for making one kid happy.
