Wow, talk about a perfect situation! I ordered online, drove to the super-convenient location on 183 between I-35 and Lamar, pulled up to the drive-thru window, got immediate service from a smiling, friendly person, and got home with my delicious, hot food in 10 minutes. And there's so much good stuff on that menu, you can bet I'll be back very soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Price per person: $10–20

I understand that this vendor/kitchen concept that will eventually have 12 separate “restaurant menus” available with different styles of food from Chinese, Thai, Sushi, seafood, burgers and more is having a little bit of start up issues which, honestly, any restaurant does when first opening. I have been 4 times. 2 times that went very smoothly and two times where there were some issues but the management was very friendly, and accommodating. The best part of this mixed vendor restaurant is that you walk in, there’s a touch screen where you can place your order. You can mix and match orders from different kitchens on the same ticket. If I want a burger but also a side of egg rolls, you can order them all at once on one ticket. If you have a group of people or a family, each person can choose which menu to order from then pay on one ticket with the tap of your credit card. They have dine in where your food is brought to your table by a little robot with shelves on it. You remove your food and the robot returns to the back where the kitchens are. They also have take away and you can also pre-order and pick up your food at a large drive up window. There are some start up issues that management is working very hard to work out. This is an AMAZING “restaurant” with a large selection of great tasting dishes. If you go, and have some issues, give them time. Every day they are open they get better and better with the work flow and vendors in the kitchen. I would highly recommend ATX Kitchens. The prices are reasonable, the ordering process is so smooth and the staff and management are so friendly and working very hard. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars even with my two visits that had some hiccups. PLEASE try ATX Kitchens. You will not regret it. I’ll say it one last time. This is a VERY clever concept kitchen/restaurant. You will definitely go back many times!!
