This was my second visit to Abattoir Végétal this year and I didn't review the first time due to such a mixed experience.Food and service weren't outstanding either time but for the price point and the location it was perfectly fine, but both times I've been left with really unpleasant stomach cramps and worse later that evening.The first time I assumed it was just bad luck and not linked, but as a vegan who regularly eats out this is really not common and suggests a serious issue with the food quality or hygiene as it's happened twice now.I really don't enjoy writing negative reviews of vegan venues especially in Paris as there aren't enough but food that leaves you ill is just not ok.
