We visited this pub for a production of Martin McDonagh's play "Executioners". He is a famous contemporary playwright and director of the excellent films “Lie Down in Bruges”, “Seven Psychopaths”, “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”. Which is exactly what we fell for. I was prepared for bad acting, because what can you expect from a pub theater. To the point that the play will be cut and simplified. But I frankly wasn’t prepared for the fact that practically nothing at all would be left from the original. The names and positions of some characters and some coincidences in the plot - that's all that connects the performance with the play. All the characters constantly swear, yell and fight, obviously compensating for the lack of acting talent among the performers. The narration is torn, communication with the audience is strained. As a result, the main question remains: “Why did I watch this with my own money?” P.S. In the kitchen: there’s frankly no Guinness here, but the wings are okay, just normal wings.
