Having seen Abbazia di Marienberg, it's time to have a rest at this cafe. It's a must to order good coffee while visiting Abbey of Monte Maria. This place scored 4.5 in the Google rating system.

Unfortunately it was still closed on March 11th. Spectacular view of Malles and the Prince's Castle, the door was open and we went in to take a peek only at the internal courtyard...we will return when we can visit it. Visited on: Weekday Wait time: No wait Reservation recommended: Not sure

The Kloster Marienberg or Benedictine Abbey of Val Venosta is located in Burgusio, a hamlet of Malles. There is a small car park (10 stalls) about 200 meters from the entrance and inside there is a refreshment point. The abbey, where 11 friars live, is a place that develops numerous initiatives but is also a place of meditation. Inside there is a baroque church which represents the only example of a three-nave basilica with columns in Val Venosta. We also find a carriage museum with very valuable artefacts by well-preserved Austrian craftsmen from various eras.
