The food comes out surprisingly fast, making it a great place when you're craving quality yakitori without a long wait. The restaurant itself is quite small, which adds to its authentic local atmosphere, but it can feel a bit cramped during busy hours. One thing to note is that the staff can come across as somewhat unfriendly. There is definitely a sense that they want to turn tables quickly, and once you stop ordering, you may feel encouraged to finish up and leave. That said, if your priority is excellent yakitori and a true neighborhood izakaya experience, Abe Chan is well worth a visit. Tare all the way! Cramped little yakitori spot. Saw it was crowded w salary-folks during rush hour and decided to try it the next day. Service is very attentive. All yakitori is delicious with the perfect char. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Cheap fast yakitori + takeout in ultra convenient location. Tare jar appears to be between 100 and 1000 years old. I preferred the chicken skewers. Must get tare.
