We booked a place for a couple on Friday -11:15 and I called the latecomer to inform her that we were 15 minutes late, she told me that there was no problem but to take into account that the buffet closes at 12:00! How exactly do they expect us to take everything we want to the table in half an hour? Including desserts? How can you sit like this having fun with all kinds of food on the table as if I'm at a lunch break. Of course we didn't go because who would pay so much money for such an experience? We were already 2 minutes from the place and we returned home! It's a shame it wasn't said that we closed Service: 1

The Birthday Family Dinner That Did Not Take Place.I remember Aberto from the pre-Corona era as a pleasant restaurant, featuring professional service and, after the the replacement of the first chef, serving tasty dishes for relatively high prices. Given its pleasant setting and convenient geographical location, it was a leading candidate for an intimate family celebration of my eldest granddaughter's 16th birthday. I therefore contacted the restaurant a week before the planned dinner and booked a table for 12 people for Saturday, October 15, at 18:00. The booking process was smooth, the restaurant employee who registered it nice and professional. Until her last cautionary remark: " The table will only be at your disposal for TWO hours". Of course, I canceled my reservation on the spot. The management's "fast food" policy in this respect testifies to a basic misunderstanding of what a dinner experience, particularly a family celebration, at an expensive restaurant like Aberto should look like. Despite the esthetical furniture, the pleasant lighting and professional service, the severely limited time policy testifies to the management's ignorance ( or worse, disregard) of the essential elements of restaurant culture.
