After enjoying George Street, go to this restaurant that is not far away. If you have never come across Lebanese and Turkish cuisines, you should order a table at Above Par. You can try perfectly cooked shish kebabs, hummus and lamb shoulder. The cooks here prepare good pancakes, baklava and ice cream.
The wine list is extensive, every guest will find something that suits their taste. The lovely ambiance is what this place is about. This spot is rated on Google 4.4 by its clients.

Ordered three different types of grills - lamb kofte (meat patty), chicken and beef. Also ordered a yoghurt dip with burnt chilli. Everything was really delicious and I would come again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$60–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I forgot to take a lot of pics of all the dishes unfortunately! The food was quite nice, but not amazing - the price was not bad. We did notice when we got home that we were charged for something called “crudites” that we never ordered? The saslik and katmer was unbelievable! loved it! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Genuinely enjoyed my experience at Izgara. Friendly staff, concise menu and friendly environment. Halal items include Chicken, Beef and Lamb which is awesome (restaurant not certified but butcher is certified). One improvement would be the loud street side seating and the bathrooms.
