I love absolution! The wines here are wonderful. Easily some of the best on the central coast with many varietals you don’t typically find elsewhere. The pours are generous, wine club benefits are great, and they often have sales and fun events.

We were really excited to try Absolution Cellars as we’ve heard a lot and love their ethos of sustainable practices and low intervention wine! We arrived on a Saturday just as they opened to an empty tasting room with excitement high; but were quickly told that due to us being ten people there would be a $300 deposit to taste wine. Again, empty tasting room and people who are truly excited to try the wines here. After we asked kindly “Oh, wait really?” We were somewhat rudely told the same thing, with no real explanation. I understand businesses needing to make sure they cover their end, but when with tasting fees and bottles purchases they would’ve received $500+ from our group, again in an empty tasting room; we were left with a bad taste in our mouth.
$$$$ Price range per person $25-$50
